NewsMorrissey resumes US tour and reschedules datesMorrissey will resume his tour of the US this evening with a performance at the Wolf Trap in Vienna, VA. The singer had been suffering from a viral throat infection which caused him to quit a show in Boston last week (June 26) after just seven songs. Under advice from doctors, the former Smiths man then cancelled the remaining shows for the week including one at Madison Square Garden in New York. The Boston show has been rescheduled and will take place this Saturday (July 7), with further dates to be announced for the rescheduled shows in New York, Philadelphia and Northampton. Tickets for all the shows, including Boston, will be honoured at the rescheduled shows. Courtney Love shocked at Amy Winehouse's drug use Courtney Love has branded troubled singer Amy Winehouse the biggest drug user in music. The former Hole singer - who has recently cleaned up after years of hedonistic behavior - admitted she was stunned when she saw with her own eyes how many drugs Winehouse imbibed, reports Hollywood.com. She said: "I've never seen anyone take as much coke as Amy. Even I wasn't that bad." Winehouse has reportedly been given three months off by her record company to sort herself out after being hospitalised on August 8, when she collapsed following three days of hard partying. Last week, her father in-law Giles Fielder-Civil suggested that fans should boycott her records until she and husband Blake kicked their drug habits. |
